Montblanc - Great Characters Albert Einstein Limited...

Description: A Limited Edition ballpoint pen from Montblanc in the 'Great Characters' series, made as a tribute to Albert Einstein (1879-1955), the German-born Swiss-American theoretical physicist, philosopher and author who is widely regarded as one of the greatest scientists and founder of general relativity. As for the pen, the platinum casing of the Albert Einstein Limited Edition 1500 radiates with the soft light of a distant star, while the dark blue lacquer on the cap evokes the velvety darkness of the infinite universe. The lattice on the cap is inspired by Einstein's general theory of relativity and curves around the platinum-gilt ball on the clip, just as light from a distant object in space would be bent by a star or a foreground galaxy in what we nowadays call gravitational lensing. The casing is engraved with Einstein's main formulas. The pen comes in the original box with a small hardcover booklet containing Einstein's famous quotes.
