Montblanc - 252 Vintage (Años 50) - Clip Liso / Anillo...

A0000005733 VINTAGE MONTBLANC 252 FOUNTAIN PEN (Germany, circa 1950s): We present at auction an excellent example from Montblanc's golden era in the 1950s: the 252 model. This series is highly prized by collectors for its design featuring purer, more modern lines compared to its contemporaries. The piece is made in a deep glossy black and is quickly distinguished from other families by two unmistakable details of this model: its single, wide band on the cap and its sleek, straight, flat clip. Crowning the cap is the iconic white star at the summit of the snowy peak. The heart of this instrument is its superb original solid gold nib of 14 karats (engraved 14C), characteristic of this decade, which guarantees a classic, high-quality writing experience. It incorporates its original piston filling system. Condition (Expert Review) This fountain pen has more than 60 years of history and shows an honest patina of use: Body and Cap: Maintain excellent shine with no cracks. Metals: The gold plating on the cap band and clip shows significant wear (brassing), very common on models from this era, revealing the base metal and giving the piece undeniable vintage character. Mechanism and Nib: The 14C nib is in excellent cosmetic condition. The piston mechanism turns. (Expert note: As an old piston system, it may require inspection or lubrication of the internal seal to ensure a perfect vacuum for daily use. It is sent clean and without original case). Shipping The item will be carefully protected and securely packed, with insured shipping and international tracking number. An extraordinary opportunity for collectors to acquire a 1950s celluloid Montblanc with one of the finest nibs ever manufactured by the brand! Good luck to all bidders, and may we have an excellent auction!
