Molaroni Pesaro - Vase - Majolica - Large Vase - 47 cm...

Grande Vaso Monumentale Molaroni Pesaro (47 cm) - Maiolica Istoriata Neorinascimentale - Inizio '900 DESCRIPTION: Exclusive and imposing parade-urn in maiolica with historic painted decoration, a masterpiece of Italian ceramic art from the renowned Molaroni manufactory of Pesaro, datable to the late 19th to early 20th century. This lot represents an extraordinary opportunity for collectors of artistic maiolica and for connoisseurs of high-class antiquities. With its monumental height of no less than 47 cm, the piece asserts itself in space with the elegance characteristic of the great noble Italian Renaissance furnishings. Artistic details and style: The vase is entirely hand-painted with a rich polychrome decoration on a deep cobalt blue background. - The historic scene: Centered in a medallion stands a refined classical female figure playing the harp, immersed in a finely detailed bucolic landscape. - Prized sculptural elements: The extraordinary and scenographic serpentine handles (with mottled, twisted snakes) frame the body of the vase, resting on majestic anthropomorphic mascaroni in relief with a strong visual impact. - Factory mark: On the bottom of the base is the prestigious original hand-painted mark in green ramina (M crowned), unequivocal signature of the Egidio Molaroni manufactory of Pesaro, an absolute guarantee of authenticity and historical value. Technical specifications: - Manufacture: Molaroni Pesaro (Italy) - Era: Late 19th - Early 20th Century (Historicist / Neo-Renaissance period) - Material: Maiolica (glazed and hand-painted terracotta) - Height: 47 cm Item condition: The main body of the vase retains intact the brilliance of the glaze and the vitality of the original colors. A structural damage is noted on one of the serpent handles (clean break with missing part and superficial chipping of the glaze near the mascarone, as highlighted in the close-up photos). Note for buyers: A perfect gamble for collectors and restoration experts. A professional intervention on this monumental piece will restore its original splendor, significantly increasing the market value of the object. An authentic piece of Italy’s great ceramic tradition, perfect for enhancing any collection or prestigious interior. Professional shipping, traced and with reinforced custom packaging to guarantee the piece’s integrity.
