Moebius - Sérigraphie - Faire le Monde

An exceptional and highly exclusive original serigraphy (silkscreen print) by the legendary French master graphic novelist and visionary artist Jean Giraud, universally known as Mœbius (1938–2012). Titled "Faire le monde" (To Make the World), this striking artwork beautifully captures Mœbius' iconic, contemplative clean line work paired with his signature bold, flat ultramarine blue blocks of ink—stylistically matching his legendary sci-fi universes like Le Monde d’Edena. Exclusivity & Rarity: While standard commercial runs of Mœbius prints typically feature higher counts (often 250 or more in standard Arabic numerals), this piece belongs to a highly restricted, deluxe sub-edition limited to only 70 copies worldwide. Beautifully justified in elegant Roman numerals as XXIV/LXX (24/70), this variant was reserved for high-end gallery distributions and serious collectors. The piece features a crisp, authentic hand-signature by Mœbius in pencil in the lower right margin, alongside the pencil-written edition number in the lower left. Printed using a traditional multi-pass silkscreen technique, the deep blue inks are laid thick on premium, heavy fine-art archival paper. A rare chance to acquire a sub-100 edition masterpiece from one of the most influential comic art figures of the 20th century. Le lot sera envoyé à partir du 25 novembre. framed: 27 x 27 cm the drawing itself is approximately 12 x 17 cm
