Mirror- Carved wooden wall mirror in Baroque style - Wood, Glass

Beautifully crafted wall mirror with a richly carved wooden frame in an unmistakable Baroque/Rococo style. The tall, asymmetrically undulating frame features acanthus leaves, scroll motifs, a floral ornament at the bottom and an openwork crown with a bow- or cartouche-shaped ornament. The wood has a warm dark-brown finish with visible grain, which makes the carving stand out well. Probably manufactured in Italy or Spain, in the second half of the 20th century, after an 18th-century model. Condition appropriate for age and use, with minor damage to the back but the front is in very good condition. Length 87 cm Width 49 cm Mirror only 51x36 cm Thickness 2 cm.
