MEDSAN - Spider-Man Spring Fuji (スパイダーマンと春の富士) - UNIQUE WORK

ONE-OF-A-KIND IN THE WORLD - EDITION 1/1 On this square format, Medsan places Spider-Man, Marvel's hero, crouched at the edge of a Japanese temple roof. We see him from behind, a hand resting on the dark tiles, and the red spider of his red and blue suit stands out between his shoulder blades. His head slightly turned, he gazes at the valley opening below at dawn: wooded hills veiled in mist, a lake reflecting pink light, village roofs and, on the right, a tall multi-tiered pagoda. In the distance, Mount Fuji raises its snow-capped summit in a sky that shifts from pink to gray-blue. A branch of blooming cherry blossoms enters from the left and lets its petals drift to the foreground, where more cherry trees bloom. Under the eaves, between the vermilion beams, hangs a dark bell. In the top right, a vertical cartouche bears the characters 富嶽春景 above a red seal. Pale pink, slate blue, and brick red dominate the scene. A moment of calm, before the hero sets off again. A serene and luminous scene, ideal for adding a touch of Japanese poetry to a contemporary collector’s interior who loves superheroes.
