MEDSAN - Lupin III Moonlit Rooftop (月夜の屋根のルパン三世) - UNIQUE WORK

ONLY ONE IN THE WORLD EXISTS - EDITION 1/1 In this vertical format, Medsan installs Lupin III, the gentleman thief from Monkey Punch's manga, on the roof of a Japanese house on a full-moon night. We see him from behind, hands in his pockets. The wind lifts his red jacket and makes his yellow tie flutter. He gazes at the sleeping city, a cigarette on his lips, and the smoke rises toward the sky. He stands on dark tiles with curved ornaments. On his left, a red and white lantern lights a wooden balcony. Below, a canal reflects the amber windows of the houses. Two arched bridges cross it and red lanterns line its edge. Farther away, a five-roof pagoda and a castle perched on the hill emerge from the mist. A pine branch frames the moon, and red maple leaves swirl around the thief. In the upper right, the cartouche ルパン三世 with its red seal is legible. The night blue, the vivid red, and the warm gold of the windows form the palette. He is barely visible as if ready to vanish before dawn. A nocturnal and elegant scene, ideal to bring a touch of mystery to a manga or Japanese culture collection interior.
