MEDSAN - Captain Future at Dawn (夜明けのキャプテンフューチャー) - UNIQUE WORK

ONLY ONE IN THE WORLD EXISTS - EDITION 1/1 On this square format, Medsan shows Captain Future, Captain Flam from the animated series, seen from behind on a rock facing a valley of rice paddies at sunrise. He wears his white suit with red shoulder pads and knee pads, with the round module on his back and the pistol at his hip. His left hand holds his white and blue helmet, and his orange hair stands out against the mist. Down below, the terraced rice paddies descend to a lake where the red disk of the sun is reflected, nestled between bluish mountains. Farmers with conical hats transplant the rice, one leads a buffalo, a thatched-roof farmhouse shelters under blossoming cherry trees and a pagoda emerges from the fog. A flowering plum tree in white and pink frames the hero. On the left, a cream cartouche bears his name, キャプテンフューチャー, under a red seal 未来 ; on the right, a pink cartouche announces 東海の朝. A sky of peach and coral, blue-gray mist: the space hero takes a moment to pause. A rare piece, ideal to bring a touch of retro-futurist nostalgia and Japanese serenity to a collector’s room.
