Maurice Lacroix – AIKON Quartz 40mm Duotone “Silver & Gold” – Swiss Made – Full Set – Uomo Description Catawiki Elegant Maurice Lacroix AIKON Quartz Duotone, two-tone version of one of the most recognizable models from the Swiss maison. The AIKON inherits the stylistic heritage of the famous Maurice Lacroix Calypso from the 1990s, reinterpreting it with contemporary, sporty and elegant lines. The distinctive bezel with six applied elements has become one of the main hallmarks of the AIKON collection. This specimen features a refined Silver & Gold configuration, with a stainless steel case and bracelet paired with elements with a yellow gold PVD coating. The surfaces skilfully alternate matte and gloss finishes, creating a strong visual contrast and highlighting the particular architecture of the case. Maurice Lacroix confirms for the Duotone version the use of stainless steel and yellow gold PVD coating. The light soleil-finished dial is completed by applied indices and gold-colored hands, with white luminescent material. At 3 o’clock is the date window, also framed in gold tone. The configuration remains clean and highly legible, with central seconds and peripheral minute track. The case measures 40 mm in diameter with a slim thickness of only 9 mm, proportions that keep the watch sporty but elegant enough for formal use. The crystal is sapphire with double anti-reflective treatment, while the crown is screw-down. The water resistance declared by the house is 10 ATM / 100 meters.
