Matthieu van Riel - Bird Blue

I like walking in nature, along flower- and tulipfields, along the North Sea coast and the Atlantic Ocean, in polders, heathlands and forests in the Netherlands, The Alps, Pyrenees and rugged mountainous regions in Scandinavia. Nature is in my mind. That is why many of my paintings are about nature, about landscape. Website: More information, see my website: Matthieu van Riel. The moiré effect is caused by photographing the cotton I paint on, its structure. If you zoom in, the effect is usually gone. Information about the moiré effect can be found on the internet.
