全部拍賣 / Furniture, Design & Mirrors / Matchbox holder - The Harvester - Spelter - No. 892
Very pretty antique pyrogene (or table match holder) representing a numbered Vendangeur under the base 892 from the late 19th century or the early 20th century. A collectible item in régule that served as a table or counter accessory for smokers: the large vessel shaped like a hood or woven basket held the matches, while the rough or grooved base served as a striker to light them. Happy bidding to all As with all my items auctioned on this site, this marvel has undergone no cleaning (just dusting) nor modification since purchase; as such a light cleaning may be advisable to restore the panache it deserves. Look closely at the photos which form part of the description. Any damage not mentioned in the text but visible in the photos is considered as described. No shipping outside the EU; if you are outside the European Union you may bid on one of my lots, however no claims will be possible in case of problems during transport. Given the new import/export regulations to the USA there will no longer be shipments to that country. Professional careful shipping, with signature and insurance.
