To evaluate the work, scroll through all the photos Broken Wall Broken Wall is born from Mart Signed’s exploration of the relationship between street art, matter, and urban memory. The project brings into houses, galleries, and private collections a fragment of the street language, transforming a surface scarred by time into a contemporary artwork. The wall is not merely the support for the image, but becomes an integral part of the work. Its surface, the cracks, the traces of time, and the natural characteristics of the material preserve the link with the urban context from which street art originates. The fracture thus becomes an element of the artistic language: the boundary between the street and the exhibition space is broken, and the urban fragment finds a new placement. The work Every path is marked by a final gesture. A single stroke of the brush transforms the 22 into 33, turning a common number into a symbol. An essential gesture that goes beyond the image: sacrifice, creation, hope, and memory meet in a single final sign. The work does not impose an answer, but leaves each observer free to find their own interpretation. The stencil is created directly on the support: this is not a print or reproduction. The work depicted in the photographs is exactly the one that will be received by the collector. Materials and authenticity Materials recovered from the street are chosen to maintain a living connection with the original street art language. Marks, abrasions, surface variations, irregularities, and natural imperfections are not defects, but elements that belong to the history of the material and the identity of the work. These characteristics are intentionally preserved and integrated into the creative process. The work is signed, accompanied by the artist-signed certificate of authenticity, and delivered ready to hang. The frame is not included unless otherwise indicated for the specific specimen. His works are part of private collections in numerous countries, and his artistic research develops around the concept “Where Are You Street Art?”: bringing the language and material of the street inside homes, galleries, private collections, and spaces traditionally distant from the urban context. Over the years, Mart Signed has developed an international presence through collaborations and relationships with various players in the art world. His research connects street art, urban memory, recovered materials, and space transformation. In 2023, Mart Signed also participated in a documentary dedicated to Banksy and street art culture. Shipping The work is shipped via specialized couriers managed by Mail Boxes Etc. Each piece is carefully packed, protected, and insured, with particular attention to the more delicate parts and to the irregular shape of the support. Shipping includes full tracking, from departure to delivery. If shipments are numerous, preparation and delivery may take a few additional days. For any information regarding shipping, you can contact the artist directly through the platform. Edition and uniqueness Broken Wall comprises a limited series of 20 unique works. Each work is created individually, and no two pieces can be identical. The shape of the support, the crack, the surface, the marks, the imperfections, and the material characteristics naturally change from one work to another, making every piece unreproducible. The 20 works share the same artistic project and the same conceptual core, but each retains its own physical and visual identity. They are therefore not 20 copies or reproductions of the same work, but 20 unique and different pieces, all part of the Broken Wall series. Each work is identified by a specific code printed on the certificate of authenticity.
