Marklin, model 39080 with MFX control, VT 08-5 composed of 3 closely coupled elements, of which one locomotive, one intermediate carriage and one leading unit, all made of metal. The train is equipped with an mfx decoder and a new high-efficiency propulsion system C-Sine, compact and maintenance-free. Two powered axles. Two traction tires. The train is standardly equipped with internal lighting. There is a special close-range linkage between the carriages. The train features reproduced interior details. It is possible to look through the driving cabs of the head cars. The headlights, position lights, and interior lighting use maintenance-free LEDs. The twin headlights and position lights vary according to the direction of travel; both these and the interior lighting operate in both analog (conventional) and digital modes. The diesel engine sounds, the horn signal, and the acceleration/deceleration delay are controllable via Control Unit or Märklin systems. Additional operational and ambient sounds, including a chronicle of the FIFA World Cup, can be activated via Märklin systems. The train is equipped with two current pickup shoes; switching between the two occurs automatically depending on which shoe is at the head of the consist. Length of the three-element train: 85.6 cm.
