全部拍賣 / Contemporary Art / Marcela Medvedikova - "JUNGLE NOIR ZEBRA GLAM" Series: WOMEN VOICELESS VOICES
"JUNGLE NOIR ZEBRA GLAM" Series: WOMEN VOICELESS VOICES Artist: Marcela Medvedikova - Artist of Slovak origin Year: 2026 Technique: Acrylic on canvas with textured gold material Dimensions: 55 x 75 cm / 21.6 x 29.5 in Signature: Signed on front (lower right) and on back of canvas Unique Artwork - Original Condition: New original artwork, ready to hang. No frame needed. Artwork Description: From the iconic series "WOMEN VOICELESS VOICES", "JUNGLE NOIR ZEBRA GLAM" represents the woman who doesn't need to speak to be heard. Face turned towards the sun, lips slightly parted, gaze hidden behind oversized zebra-patterned glasses. Her strength lies in silence, in her pose. The long, graphic neck merges with the zebra pattern, a symbol of wild instinct and untamable elegance. The background in textured gold acrylic with acid lime glaze creates a vibrant, almost tropical light - the urban "jungle" of a contemporary, sophisticated and free woman. The material gold texture, a stylistic signature of the artist, captures light and changes with it, making the artwork come alive. A glam portrait, but with a wild soul. For those who love fashion, but don't follow the rules. Shipping & Packaging: Professional packaging with protective layers and sturdy box. Shipping within 3 working days after payment. The canvas on professional wooden stretcher frame, ready to hang. Unique artwork, accompanied by Certificate of Authenticity signed by the Drawn in a comic-book style, with stylized lines and focused on a dominant expression, these portraits only lack the classic speech bubble of the 'narrative segment' of pop art. In her presentation, Marcela Medvedikova writes: "I did not study painting: I am self-taught. Since I was a child I drew flowers and objects, then moved on to pencil portraits, until I discovered oil painting. Painting is a passion that I discovered and cultivated slowly. On the other hand, fashion fascinated me and guided my studies. Creating new styles of women's clothing with matching accessories fascinated me until I was twenty-seven. Later, painting gained a stable place in my life and I focused in particular on female faces, to perfect my painting technique." From 2010 to today, Marcela Medvedikova has participated in various group exhibitions in galleries and museum spaces in Capri, Naples, Cremona and Rome. The "Machina" Gallery hosts the first solo exhibition of the Slovak artist.
