全部拍賣 / Contemporary Art / Marc Girardot (XX-XXIe) - Foisonnement floral
Marc GIRARDOT (XX-XXI) - "Floral Abundance" - Oil on canvas knife-painted A lively and generous floral composition representing a dense carpet of vegetation and blooming roses. The work immediately stands out for its monumental painting technique: a remarkable knife-work with very thick oil impasto, which gives the painting an almost three-dimensional quality. The artist shapes the fresh paint like a sculpture to give striking relief to the petals of the deep carmine red roses as well as to the multitude of small white and golden flowers in the background. The color palette is an explosion of freshness, harmoniously marrying vibrant shades of green (tending toward emerald) with the warmth of the flowers, creating a striking sense of organic movement. The work bears the authentic signature of the artist GIRARDOT in a very legible way in the material at the bottom left. Technical characteristics: • Artist: Marc Girardot, referenced contemporary painter. • Technique: Oil on canvas with knife (strong impasto / sculpted reliefs) • Dimensions: 40 x 27 cm • Signature: Signed "GIRARDOT" at the bottom left • Period: Contemporary art • Theme: Still life / Floral art / Figurative abstraction / Vegetation • Condition: Excellent condition. The thick paint layer and the sculpted volumes of the material are impeccably preserved. Healthy and stretched canvas. Careful shipping and tracking with insurance."
