Magnificent flared coin bracelet

Authentic prestigious anthropological piece serving as a currency of exchange and dowry. Its form is reminiscent of the Gurunsi / Mossi ethnic groups of Burkina Faso. A detailed description will be provided later, but for now, I offer you a description of all 24 pieces of objects whose provenance remains exceptional—a scientific and primitive art treasure. Discover among my 24 listings a unique historical ensemble, remaining intact and preserved within my family for over 70 years, because an elder member of my family worked at the prestigious Bureau de Recherche Géologique Minière (BRGM) during the 1950s. These pieces are part of a spectacular field collection. The collection is documented by its wooden transport case with colonial BRGM Natitingou-Dahomey inscriptions, the former name of present-day Benin; it is also documented by an exceptional set of 26 geological maps with explanatory notes from surveys conducted between 1935 and 1961. Among my 24 sales, you will find an exceptional King Manilla weighing over 3.8 kg. Each lot (24 in total) is a fragment of this historic geological expedition. This bracelet stands out for its very elegant tapering shape and superb engravings across its entire external surface: geometric motifs, friezes and traditional dotted circles. Diameter of 105 mm for a weight of 549 grams. Good vintage condition, in its period-appropriate patina and original patina. Authentic collectible piece.
