Magnificent and rare Spalding "Official Ball Of The Game"...

Magnificent and rare Spalding "Official Ball Of The Game" glass advertising sign c.1920s. Exceedingly scarce point of sale advertising piece done by Spalding to promote their line of Official National League baseballs. Glass pane is decorated from the back in red, white, and blue with striking silver text that proclaims the "Spalding National League Ball" to be "The Official Ball Of The Game." Ringed by metal chain with an extra piece at the top to allow for hanging. The sign measures 5.5"x12.25" overall and remains in exceptional condition with just a hint of natural wear/age and some rust to metal portions. The first of its' type we can recall seeing and the fragile nature certainly lends to it being one of the only to have survived: EX-EX/MT
