These are undisclosed Islay-style single malts, non-chill filtered, and naturally colored. Star Item 1: Mac-Talla Terra Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky. This expression embodies the land (“Terra”) of Islay: matured primarily in bourbon casks with toasted oak and gentle peat influences. It boasts a more earthy and malty profile than its maritime counterparts. • Profile: A nose of toasted cereal, damp earth, gentle peat smoke, sweet malt, hints of nuts and dried herbs; a balanced and rounded palate with smoky barley, caramel, toasted oak, soft spices, and a medium-long finish with earthy notes and malty sweetness.
