Named after the Masikytos range, it formed one of the League’s principal monetary districts alongside Kragos. Its silver coinage, commonly bearing Apollo and a lyre, combined a shared Lycian identity with the district’s initials, MA. Myra is a proposed minting centre, although the precise place of production remains uncertain.
