Jardin, meaning garden - this is the poetic name for the characteristic crystalline inclusion pattern of the emerald. Just like its colour and cut, it is this inclusion pattern that distinguishes each emerald from another and thus makes the naturally grown stone unique. A bright green emerald is the focal point of this ring. Solidly and compactly crafted, the ring face makes use of different heights to enhance its effect, setting eight large brilliant cut diamonds slightly elevated, while smaller diamonds sparkle at a level below. All of the gemstones are held in place by 18-karat white gold. The combination of white gold and diamonds makes the emerald appear all the more radiant, accentuating its cool hue. The ring was probably created around 1960 and came to us from Hamburg. It comes with a certificate from the German Association for Gemstone Evaluation Idar-Oberstein.
