全部拍賣 / Miscellaneous / Luciano Binda De Gastaldi (1927-1989) - The High Society
- Oil on panel. Hand-signed. - In this Binda de Gastaldi canvas, the staging of the Colón Theatre’s palco transcends a mere period portrait to become a corrosive radiography of Patricia’s vacuity. Three generations of haughty gazes — incarnated in the matriarch’s impertinent twins, the mother’s icy composure, and the daughter’s already learned apathy — attest to the hereditary transmission of snobbery as the only unshakeable patrimony. For this vernacular aristocracy, opera is not a temple of music nor a space for the sublime delight of art, but a simple social showcase: a display where velvet, elaborate hairstyles, and ceremonial pomp serve to scrutinize the rest of the auditorium, reaffirming the relevance of their own class privileges while the performance unfolds behind them as mere background noise. - Image dimensions without frame: 67 x 47 cm / 81 x 61 cm with exclusive custom frame. In Montbaron Gallery, we are pleased to offer our clients an exclusive selection of artworks, all of them unique, original, and irreplaceable. Each piece in our gallery results from deep dedication, a creative vision, and masterful technique, features that guarantee its authenticity. The works we sell are not industrial reproductions; they are pieces created individually by renowned artists, each with its own story and essence. Originality is the basis of our commitment to excellence and, therefore, every painting or sculpture that is part of our collection is carefully selected to ensure its singularity. Acquiring a work from Montbaron Gallery means owning an irreplaceable piece, an investment in creativity and talent that, over time, will preserve both its artistic and emotional value. Certain lots, due to their age and value, require an export permit granted by the Ministry of Culture. Although this is an administrative procedure, it is indispensable to ensure the authenticity of the work and its free circulation internationally. Montbaron Gallery is committed to offering its clients original, unique, and irreplaceable artworks, guaranteeing the authenticity and quality of each piece in our collection. To ensure transparency and confidence in every acquisition, we offer a digital Guarantee Certificate, signed by a certified art historian. This certificate certifies that the acquired work has been authenticated by our specialists, who verify its authorship, origin, and condition. The Guarantee Certificate includes complete details about the piece, such as author, creation date, technique used, and dimensions. The digital Guarantee Certificate will be issued upon the client’s request, providing an official reference for the acquired piece. This document will be sent in digital format and will be signed by an art historian from our gallery, ensuring its validity and backing. We are committed to our clients’ satisfaction and trust, so any questions about the authenticity or condition of the work will be addressed professionally and diligently. To request your Guarantee Certificate, please contact us through our usual channels. As experts in art logistics, Montbaron Gallery is committed to ensuring that every piece arrives at its destination safely and in the best possible condition. To this end, we work with a network of professionals specialized in art transport, who guarantee maximum care throughout the process. It is important to note that the shipping cost prices listed in the advertisement are indicative and subject to modification depending on various circumstances. These include fluctuations in transport market rates, changes in delivery location, the size and weight of the work, and potential extraordinary circumstances such as fuel cost fluctuations or adjustments in customs and import tariffs. The final shipping cost will be calculated precisely based on these factors, and the client will always be informed in advance before proceeding with the shipment. Our goal is to offer the best possible service, adapting to each client’s needs and ensuring the artwork reaches its destination quickly and safely, with no surprises. The frame shown in the previous images has been added to the artwork by a third party or by the seller, so it is not an integral part of the object. This frame is provided to you at no additional cost so that, when the work arrives at your home, it can be displayed immediately on your wall. Consequently, damages to the frame that do not affect the integrity of the work will not be valid grounds for making a claim or requesting a cancellation.
