These Witch-king gauntlets were ordered directly in 2012 from Kropserkel Inc. (Toronto, Canada), a renowned studio specializing in screen-accurate prop and costume replicas since 1997. The piece is part of their "Armour of the Nazgûl" collection and is individually crafted and numbered—Commission 87, Witch-king 57—bearing the specific designation "Ulare Norrek." The gauntlets were hand-forged by a professional armorer with 18 years of experience, featuring fully articulated plates (42 in total) that faithfully replicate the original film designs from The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. In 2024, the gauntlets were signed by actor Andy Serkis at Comic Con Brussels, adding an extra layer of authenticity and provenance to this already rare, uniquely numbered piece. The item comes with the original commission certificate from Kropserkel Inc. confirming its authenticity.
