LIP Himalaya Chronograph Men's stainless steel chronograph watch. - Dial: White/silver with LIP / HIMALAYA logo, “Chronographe” inscription above the date window at 6 o’clock and “BESANÇON FRANCE” at the bottom. Gold/bronze-tone applied Arabic numerals and hour markers. Two sub-dials (small seconds at 9 o’clock and 24-hour indicator at 3 o’clock). Tachymeter scale on the flange. Sapphire crystal. - Case: Round, polished steel with mushroom-shaped pushers. Screw-down steel caseback engraved with the coat of arms of the city of Besançon and the LIP logo, with the inscription “FABRIQUÉ À BESANÇON - HIMALAYA 1954 - STEEL - WATER-RESISTANT TO 50M,” numbered ⁠671593⁠ / ⁠8110⁠. - Movement: Quartz (needs servicing/battery replacement). - Strap: Green/gray leather with a patina effect, steel pin buckle. Diameter: approx. 39 mm Condition: Pronounced scratches and signs of wear visible on the case back, slight micro-scratches on the case. Watch was non-functional at the time of appraisal; battery needs to be replaced. Sold as-is, without box or paperwork.
