Limburg Glashütte - glashütte Limburg - Cluster ceiling...

Original Glashütte Limburg ceiling lamp, model A493, from the 1960s. This version has a solid brass ceiling plate and a heavy dome of pressed structural glass. The glass has a multi-layer, crystal-like structure which causes the light to be distributed warm and atmospheric. A typical mid-century design of high quality, originating from West Germany. The original model label A493 is present (see photo), which confirms authenticity and collectible value. This type of Limburg lamps is known for their robust glasswork, cast brass and timeless design. Technical data: • Model: A493 • Period: approx. 1960–1969 • Fitting: 1x E27 • Country of origin: West Germany • Material: Pressed structural glass & cast brass • Condition: Very good – glass fully intact – works perfectly • Type: Flush mount / ceiling lamp Extra information: I also have two smaller variants from the same series available.
