Liliput H0 - 107 40 - Steam locomotive with tender (1) - Series 3500 - NS Fleet number 3503 The NS 3500 series was a series of steam locomotives of the Dutch Railways (NS), which were second-hand acquired from the Swiss railways SBB. From the Swiss SBB, among others, about twenty-two steam locomotives from the A 3/5 603-649 series that had been taken out of service were acquired. The locomotives would be put into service from 1946 as NS series 3651-3672, but because the last three units of the NS 3500 series had been withdrawn shortly beforehand, these locomotives were given numbers 3501-3522. The locomotives were deployed from the depots Zwolle, Nijmegen, The Hague, Venlo and Zutphen. After several years of service, the locomotives were withdrawn between 1948 and 1952.
