Le Yack - Because of the Sun - Hand signed

Lying on a towel, on the roof of a brick building, she reads. Only her eyes show above the book, and they are watching you. Next to her, a silent transistor. Behind her, the entire city in the heat haze. It's too hot to do anything else. She reads the story of a man whom the sun has made a stranger to himself — and she seems close to understanding why. Zenith summer light, harsh shadows on the gravel of the roof. The skyscrapers are treated as veils of golden mist, almost faded; the brick and the skin in the foreground, a warm, dense paste.
