全部拍賣 / Miscellaneous / LDB Milano - Celeste Dell'Anna - Tray - Wood - from the parade
Vintage solid wood sideboard tray - Celeste Dell'Anna for L.D.B. Milano - 1980s/1990s Refined and sturdy vintage solid wood sideboard tray, designed by the renowned Italian interior designer Celeste Dell'Anna and produced for the high-end brand L.D.B. Milano. The piece stands out for its extraordinary marquetry-quality workmanship and a substantial weight of about 3 kg, proof of its high-density solid wood construction (far from light mass-produced items). The design embraces a classical and monumental aesthetics: it features a rich base with a shaped moulding that rests on four solid bulbous semi-spherical feet. The raised edges integrate perfectly with the carved wooden handles, combining functionality with a clean formal silhouette. Under the base is the original fire-stamped mark: "Celeste Dell'Anna per L.D.B. Milano", which guarantees absolute authenticity and archival traceability. Focus on the Designer: Celeste Dell'Anna (Milan, 1954) – The Master of Cultured Maximalism Celeste Dell'Anna is one of the most exclusive and refined names in contemporary international interior design. Born in Milan in 1954, he trained under the legendary Renzo Mongiardino, considered his successor and spiritual heir. From his historic Milanese studio on Via Montebello, Dell'Anna redefined the concept of elite luxury, rejecting fleeting trends and minimalism in favor of cultured, theatrical, and eclectic maximalism. His philosophy envisions the home as an intimate sanctuary and a stage for private life. With a unique, almost cinematic approach, he coordinates craftsmen and specialists to create unique pieces and tailor-made interiors. Among his most celebrated projects are: • The superyacht M/Y Fortuna for the Spanish Royal Family • The Imperial Suite of the prestigious Principe di Savoia Hotel in Milan • A colossal private palace in Kunming, China His creations embody a perfect fusion of high Italian craftsmanship, cultured opulence, and timelessness, consistently celebrated by leading global magazines such as Architectural Digest and W Magazine. An unmissable opportunity for collectors and lovers of high-end designer pieces. The tray is structurally flawless and solid, free of cracks or fissures in the wood, never used. Very light signs of wear. Please view the photographic gallery carefully, which forms an integral part of the description.
