LARIMAR. An exceptional and unique handcrafted piece

Large 925 sterling silver bracelet rhodium-plated, set with 20 natural Larimar cabochons (oval, pear, and round). Total length: 60 cm Weight: 82.84 g Bar clasp and adjustable chain. Larimar is found in only one place in the world: the Bahoruco Mountains in the Dominican Republic. Rediscovered in 1916 by a local priest, it was long forgotten before being named in 1974 by a Dominican artisan, who combined his daughter Larissa’s name with the word “mar,” the sea. Its sky-blue and turquoise hues, streaked with white like foam, earned it the nickname “Caribbean stone.” In lithotherapy, Larimar is associated with calm, serenity, and gentleness. It is also attributed a link with the throat and heart chakras, favoring expression and communication. Rhodium plating is a thin layer of rhodium, a precious metal in the platinum family. It protects silver from oxidation and gives it an intense white shine. Real photographs; what you see is what you receive. 1. Secure shipment with tracking number. 2. Shipping twice a week.
