LARGE PORCH CLOCK

in white marble and chiselled bronze with a double patina, brown and gold. The stepped plinth, resting on flattened feet, is adorned with relief scenes depicting playful putti and the faces of Medusa. The side panels, featuring busts encased in gilded bronze caryatids, are crowned by seated putti facing one another. The case, with an eagle at its centre, is adorned with an openwork motif depicting a trophy. It houses a white enamelled dial, displaying the hours in Arabic numerals. The movement is suspended by a wire. Late Louis XVI period. Height: 63 cm – Width: 48 cm – Depth: 12.5 cm (missing parts and restoration, added elements, damage to the glass, signs of wear)
