commemorative Lalique paperweight “Sceau Tremplin” created for the 16th Winter Olympic Games in Albertville 1992, issued in a limited and numbered edition. This piece in satin-clear crystal represents a ski jumper in full flight, treated in the sculptural style emblematic of Lalique, combining dynamic lines, movement and luminous transparency. Made in solid crystal, this model features a very fine engraved and satin-finished decoration, highlighting the silhouette of the skier as well as the effects of speed and momentum. The base bears the inscription: « ALBERTVILLE 1992 – XVIe JEUX OLYMPIQUES D’HIVER » This creation is part of the official series of the “Olympic Commemoratives” produced by Lalique for the 1992 Winter Olympic Games.
