There is also the shepherd's cross on the handle. This is the emblem under which shepherds on long treks across the land could bless their meal, with the knife stuck in the bread. One knife is equipped with an olive wood handle and the other with an ebony wood handle. In both knives the wood is laid against each other in different ways with an elegant brass insert. These knives have an elegant, robust and original design. The sharp, finely engraved stainless steel blade is highly resistant to corrosion. The knives come with a belt pouch. Please note that there are no papers or a certificate included with these knives. They are new, though. Laguiole The famous knife from France is originally a beautiful functional pocket knife. Laguiole is not a brand name, but a reference to a French village. It was designed based on a Spanish pocket knife called navaja and a locally French dagger called capuchadou.
