Indispensable memories of Pierre Monnier who was the friend and publisher of Louis Ferdinand Céline for the exile period 1944-1951 in Denmark. With 313 unpublished letters from LF Céline, often virulent and sarcastic but always captivating. In a remarkable binding by Jean de Gonet, embossed covers "Révorim" red morocco spine with visible stitching, covers and spine of the work preserved. Binding numbered 84/200. Attached an interesting handwritten letter by Pierre Monnier dating from 1950, about the editing difficulties and notably about "Mort à crédit" which he published that same year under the name "Frédéric Chambriand éditeur" STUNNING AND VERY RARE!
