Knife rest (12) - Glazed ceramic - Mid-Century Knife Holder

Vintage set of 12 French ceramic knife rests or knife holders, composed of 2 different design models, 6 pieces of each model. The pieces reflect the characteristic style of French manufactories such as Vallauris, with no marks on the base. There is one model shaped like a poodle in emerald green barbotine style and another model in a vintage classic style with a wavy or ribbed form in pastel green or mint. It comes in a cardboard box with a satin-lined interior; the box shows signs of use but remains functional. The knife rests are in very good condition considering they have no chips, cracks, or restorations. Only the set of 6 pieces with the wavy design shows wear in the gold areas, which does not diminish their charm. See photos. Measurements: poodle-shaped rests measure 8.3 cm long, 2.8 cm wide, and 2 cm high. Classic wavy rests measure 8.5 cm long, 1.6 cm wide, and 1.6 cm high. Both the description and the photos accurately reflect the features and condition of the product. Please read and observe carefully.
