KLM ROYAL GOEDEWAAGEN - Plate - Pottery - KLM Santa Claus

The presentation is cheerful and full of detail: Santa sits with headphones and a pipe in the cockpit of an airplane, under a starry sky with the moon. Around him lie presents, holly, a decorated Christmas tree, and a recognizable blue KLM bag. The whole is executed in vivid colors with strong black outlining, typical of the illustration style of that time. On the back is the text "Christmas Greetings – KLM Royal Dutch Airlines", the brand Royal Goedewaagen Gouda-Holland and a handwritten signature. The plate has a hanging wire and can be hung directly on the wall. Size: Ø 11.5 cm Condition: Very good. No chips, cracks or restorations. There is only light crazing in the glaze, which is normal for earthenware of this age. A very rare collectible and a real addition for enthusiasts of KLM memorabilia, aviation history, or Goedewaagen pottery. The photos are part of the description. Shipping is done very carefully and well protected.
