全部拍賣 / Contemporary Art / Kiri Aguilera (1982) - XL - El Pez Dorado
Kiri Aguilera (1982) is an artist of Cuban origin, currently resident in Spain, whose work is distinguished by a sophisticated visual language where contemporary abstraction, poetic figuration and gestural expressiveness converge. Trained in professional art schools, her career reveals a solid academic foundation that is manifested in mastery of drawing, composition and the spatial construction of the canvas. On this technical structure, the artist has developed a style of her own, deeply recognizable, in which the line takes on a leading role as an element of rhythm, tension and visual narrative. Her acrylic on canvas production, entirely handmade, stands out for a vibrant chromatic richness and the presence of carefully balanced pictorial layers. Color, far from being merely ornamental, acts as an emotional vehicle that transforms each work into a sensory, highly impactful experience. Within her thematic universe stand out the female figures, floral compositions and the stylized representation of animals, elements that the artist reinterprets through a language that oscillates between abstract synthesis and suggested figuration. Her large-format works — usually exceeding 100 cm — are conceived for spaces with strong aesthetic presence, creating a direct relationship with interior architecture and becoming authentic focal points within the environment. The subtlety of the stroke, the elegance of the lines and the intensity of the color bring to each piece a contemporary visual identity and highly decorative, without losing conceptual depth or artistic value. Kiri Aguilera's work is especially attractive to collectors and lovers of contemporary art who seek original pieces with strong visual presence, impeccable technique and distinctive aesthetics. Each canvas conveys a refined sensibility, where gestural energy coexists with compositional harmony, generating works of great sophistication, ideal for private collections as well as for curatorial spaces and high-end interior design projects. This acrylic on canvas work is framed in neo-figurative contemporary and graphic pop art, portraying an elegant woman with a serene gaze seated in a Mediterranean atmosphere room. The protagonist wears a white blouse with orange polka dots and a red skirt, accompanied on her left by a cat with an attentive gaze and on her right by a glass fishbowl with a goldfish on a side table. The composition skilfully combines geometric planes and clearly defined contours inside with a coastal landscape through the window, while the color palette establishes a vibrant dialogue between the cool tones of cobalt blue and the warmth of red, orange and yellow, achieving a bright, sophisticated scene with notable decorative rhythm.
