He began painting in 2014 and had his first exhibitions. In 2015 the first solo exhibition followed. Since then he has continuously developed his technique. Several exhibitions and workshops followed to this day. Jürgen Angeler pays particular attention to Informal Painting, a form of modern art that originated in the 1940s/1950s. The blend of spontaneity (impulse) and chance (drip painting, scraper marks) plays a decisive role. At the end of the creative process is a finished painting that expresses the tension built up during the process. Jürgen Angeler looks back on successful exhibitions in Germany, Italy, and Austria. His paintings are in collections in several European countries, the USA, Hong Kong, and Japan. Selected exhibitions: - Participation with two paintings at "cosmo GRAFIE" in Rome, Italy. Curated by Eva Czerkl - Involvement in the Elledorado Art Charity at the Schwules Museum, Berlin (patron: Claudia Roth, Vice President of the Bundestag) - Solo exhibition "Made in Germany" at KulturE i Mainz (Citadel), Germany
