Junghans - Vintage - No reserve price - 010/4504 - Men - 1970

Junghans Astro-Quartz – Rare Vintage Collector’s Timepiece – First German Quartz Wristwatch Description: For sale is a real rarity and a piece of significant watch history: an original Junghans astro-quartz men’s bracelet watch from the pioneer era of quartz technology. This model is an absolute highlight for lovers of classic German watches. The watch impresses with its fascinating design from both sides: The front: The dial captivates with its dark, fine honeycomb texture that shines beautifully depending on the light. The dial is framed in a solid metal case in the characteristic cushion shape, which was utterly fashionable at the time. A practical date display is located on the right side. The back: The case back is a dream for tech enthusiasts. It shows two distinctive, round openings that are typical for this era: a separate battery compartment that can be easily opened from the outside, and the charming, recessed crown for setting the time. All original manufacturer inscriptions and engravings are clearly visible here. The watch comes with the matching, original metal link bracelet and exudes pure retro charm. Condition: The watch has been worn and shows an age-appropriate, authentic patina on the case and bracelet, which gives it the character of a true collector’s watch. The dial and hands are in very good condition. Please refer to the detailed photos of the front and back for the exact visual condition.
