This historical provenance of the design has been confirmed by Kristin Joseff, representative of the third generation of the founding family. Joseff of Hollywood was not an ordinary costume jewelry manufacturer. Founded in 1935, the house worked directly with major studios, creating the ensembles destined for the stars and productions that shaped the history of cinema: Gone with the Wind (1939), The Wizard of Oz (1939) and Casablanca (1942).
