A theatrical, geometric Art Deco/Modernist composition showcasing clown figures with sweeping brushes and dustpans under dramatic stage lighting. Rare Limited Edition: Strictly limited to 200 copies, hand-numbered "64/200" in pencil on the lower-left margin and personally hand-signed "Willem Vleeschouwer" in pencil on the lower border. Joost Swarte – "Haarlemse Open Monumentendagen" / Haarlem 750 (40 x 60 cm) Commissioned by the Municipality of Haarlem in 1995 to celebrate the 750th city anniversary (Haarlem 750). Features Swarte's world-famous architectural Klare Lijn aesthetic, portraying stylized modernist/monumental buildings, walking figures, and floating red cloud-balloons against an open sky. Signed with Swarte's integrated monogram stamp dated '95 in the lower left and the Haarlem 750 emblem in the lower right. • Printing & Technique: Both pieces are original, authentic period offset lithographs executed on heavy, high-grade matte fine-art paper stock with crisp contours and saturated flat ink fields.
