Figurative elements, body shapes, symbols and text fragments merge into a dynamic, almost enigmatic pictorial world. Typical for Jonathan Meese is the combination of recognizable motifs with a free, almost associative way of drawing. Particularly striking are the two bold diagonal lines that run through the depiction and give the multifaceted composition visual coherence.
