Here I offer two beautiful original adventures / Western drawings 1. Roy Tiger No. 68 Cover Image Technique: gouache / oil paints on drawing cardboard Size: 25.5 x 24 cm. Excellent condition Roy Tiger appeared between 1968 and 1970 at Bastei Verlag. This is the cover image of issue No. 68 "The Mysterious Maharaja" and was drawn by the Spanish artist Joaquin Pino. 2. Rancher (Colorado Kid?) with his wife and assistant Technique: ink / watercolor / gouache / halftone on drawing cardboard Size: 28 x 35 cm Condition: Good – age-related. The cardboard has some discoloration on the outer edge. The visible drawing is very good! (approx. 1960s) Early Western original drawings by the British artist James Edwin McConnell in ink / halftone on heavy drawing cardboard. McConnell (born 1903 – 1995) was a well-known illustrator for book covers and magazines. He achieved great success with his illustrations for Westerns, Hollywood drawings, or historic scenes. The last two photos show the cover of Roy Tiger Issue No. 68 and a title image drawn by James E. McConnell for Colorado Kid. The issues serve only as reference and are not part of the auction! See photos Shipping includes the packaging costs for the crash-proof packaging made from environmentally friendly honeycomb boards (cardboard), which you can reuse.
