A rare hand-blown studio glass vase crafted by the renowned Vandermark Merritt Glass Studios from New Jersey (USA), dated 1979. This impressive vase is finished in a deep cobalt blue glass with a breathtaking, metallic iridescent sheen (luster) that beautifully reflects light. The vase is masterfully decorated with large, fused white flowers (gardenias or lilies) and flowing, deep blue and purple lines. The design is a clear, modern nod to the organic forms of the classical Art Nouveau period (Tiffany/Loetz). Signed on the underside
