Wholly original looking with good eye appeal, this little Gem offers fully lustrous fields with bold devices. The surfaces display a attractive light sunset hued tone adding to its pleasing appearance. Housed in the original Ministry of Finance red holder, now encapsulated in a large size PCGS holder. When the Ministry of Finance Hoard was being sold, the number of each date, denomination and type were enumerated in the auction catalog. This is significant due to the fact that once sold and exported many pieces were taken out of their original special made holders after the fact. Today, examples can still be found housed in the original holders, but are far less encountered than that auction listing would suggest. Estimate: $1,000 - $1,500.
