全部拍賣 / Sports & Leisure / Jake LaMotta - Autograph With COA of JSA, Photograph
Autograph of Jake LaMotta, on a photo of the bout against the Frenchman Laurent Dauthuille which was the hardest and most grueling fight for both boxers. The signature was authenticated by the experts at James Spence Authentication (JSA) and they affixed an authentication number to the photo (listed in their database) and provided their certificate of authenticity. The film Raging Bull with Robert De Niro is based on the life of Jake LaMotta. World middleweight champion from 1949 to 1951 after having defeated champion Marcel Cerdan, he absorbed the most violent blows without flinching, hence his nickname of "Raging Bull" (enraged bull). He had brutal clashes with Sugar Ray Robinson, notably the famous "St. Valentine’s Day Massacre" which took place in Chicago. Jake LaMotta passed away in 2017 at the age of 95. JSA identification number: NN25172
