With an old handwritten name on the flyleaf and at the top of the title page the name of one of the authors. Here and there a very slight discoloration or a small stain. Red-gilt on the edges. A beautiful book. ** Jacobus Arminius, latinization of Jacobus Hermanszoon, (Oudewater, October 10, 1560 – Leiden, October 19, 1609) was a Dutch pastor and theologian at the beginning of the Eighty Years' War. Arminianism is named after him. His followers united as the Remonstrants.
