Tolkien in 1951, describing his conception of the mythology of Middle-earth. * A fold-out map of Beleriand and the Lands to the North, printed in red and black. * Tolkien’s painting Halls of Manwë (Taniquetil) reproduced as a colour frontispiece. * Tolkien’s heraldic device for Lúthien Tinúviel. * A map of the Realms of the Noldor and Sindar, printed in red and black. * Heavyweight acid-free paper. * A ribbon marker. * Original matching slipcase.
