Italy, Promotional coins before the euro

First Coin Medal/1 Euro promotional numismatic token from 1965 issued by the European Federalist Movement (MFE), specifically by the Bologna section. It is not legal tender, but a well-known "test" or pro-European propaganda strike produced decades before the actual introduction of the euro in 2002. Federalist token/medal bearing the motto "IN UNITATE ROBUR" (in unity there is strength), the acronym MFE, the year 1965, and on the reverse the Movement's symbol with hands interlaced around the "E" of Europe. It is made of 800/1000 silver (note the 800 hallmark impressed in the lower left near the year 1965). Second Coin Corporate/promotional metal commemorative medal (not legal tender) issued by Deutsche Bank S.p.A. in March 1998. Object details Right (Obverse): Official Deutsche Bank logo in the center with the inscription "MARZO 1998 INSIEME NELL'EURO" and at the bottom "DEUTSCHE BANK S.p.A.". Reverse: Map of Europe with the euro symbol (€) and the inscription "EURO".
