Ioannes Lucas Fenech - CASVVM MORALIVM - 1679-1679

An important and fascinating religious volume by Giovanni Luca Fenech—identified as *Io. Luca Fenech I. V. D. Melitensi*—a renowned Maltese jurist, parish priest, and rector of the Church of San Nicola in Arcione in Rome. Contemporary binding; the binding remains solid for the majority of the pages. Complete with all pages. The volume has 464 numbered pages and 10 pages of index (unnumbered). There is an initial title page and a title page for the index. The work is a substantial and dense collection of cases regarding morals and conscience, drawn from selected authorities and intended for ecclesiastical use. Shows expected signs of wear, browning, and yellowing, yet remains a very fine work considering the era of its publication. Some handwritten notes appear on the blank pages at the beginning and end of the volume, but these do not affect the text itself. See photos to make your own assessment. Shipped with secure, robust packaging.
