Intricately Hand-Carved Melo umbilicatus Shell with Marine Life – Indonesia An exquisite natural Melo umbilicatus shell, transformed into an extraordinary marine-inspired sculpture through the intricate art of traditional Indonesian shell carving. This remarkable piece features an elaborate underwater scene, beautifully depicting a prominent lobster, two magnificent scorpionfish, several smaller fish, starfish, and coral formations. Every element has been carefully sculpted into the shell, creating a fascinating composition rich in movement, texture, and marine detail. The lobster stands out with its segmented body, finely carved claws, and delicate antennae, while the two scorpionfish display beautifully detailed fins and distinctive textured bodies.
