Imposante Eclectische Boekenkast / Archiefkast in...

Imposing Eclectic Bookcase / Archive Cabinet in Neo-Style (Circa 1920–1950) Magnificent, extremely sturdy classical cabinet executed in an eclectic neo-style, presumably originating from Western Europe. The piece is richly decorated with classical elements such as fluted pilasters, fine woodcarving and stylish rounded arches at the top, giving it a grand appearance in both a classical and eclectic interior. Materials, Construction & Details: - Professionally crafted from warm woods with beautiful veneer work on the door panels. - The interior of the shelves and cupboards is lined with a very sturdy textured fabric/wallpaper in a warm, attractive tone (supplied with some light, typical age spots that are not distracting). - Equipped with an original key; all locks function excellently and operate smoothly with the same key. - Each door features a handsome brass handle/hanger that makes the doors easy to open. Key & Lock: An original key is present. All locks function excellently and operate smoothly with the same key. Dimensions: - Width: 222 cm (measured at the crown) - Total height: 222 cm - Upper cabinet height: 144 cm - Lower cabinet (sideboard) height: 78 cm - Total depth: 44 cm - Shelf width: Shelves have a width of 65 cm. Condition: - The cabinet is in a lovely, characterful used condition. - The furniture consists of 2 solid parts (a separate sideboard and a top cabinet), making the whole very sturdy and easy to handle and lift with 2 people. - One of the doors has undergone a small, deft restoration to the edge in the past (clearly shown in the photos), which hardly stands out and does not affect the robustness or beauty of the piece. Delivery & Transport Information: Careful pallet transport: This lot is packed with the utmost care and shipped on a custom-sized pallet to prevent damage during transport. Delivery to curb: The transport is door-to-door, but the driver delivers at curb level (ground floor). The driver will not carry the furniture inside. Self-assembly assistance: Because this is a large, heavy piece on a pallet, you must arrange sufficient help yourself to unload the cabinet from the pallet after delivery and bring it indoors. Important notice regarding absence: We will be unavailable for business from November 19 to December 6. Items auctioned during this period will be shipped to you after December 6. Thank you for your understanding! ps: The last 2 photos were created with AI to create atmosphere
